Fee Changes on 1 June 2022
As of 1 June 2022, Coogee Medical Centre will no longer universally bulk bill children 0-9 years of age, pension card holders, health care card holders or concession card holders. See below for a guide to the reduced fee.
Routine Immunisations for Children will continue to be Bulk Billed.
Fees for Card Holders and Children
Standard Reduced Fee $75 (Gap of $35.90 after medicare rebate)
Long Consultation Reduced Fee $120 (Gap of $44.25 after medicare rebate)
In some circumstances, Bulk Billing may still be provided at the discretion of the individual doctor. Please discuss any issues with your doctor as reception staff are unable make this determination.
Coogee Medica Centre does not provide immunisation for COVID-19.
Infanrix Hexa is back in stock but due to a National shortage, the numbers are limited this may affect some children’s 6 week, 4 month or 6 months immunisations. Our stock may run out before the end of each month, your patience is appreciated at this time.
The 18 month immunisation ot MMRV are also in short Supply.
Influenza Vaccinations are available for all ages. These are provided free for patients over 65, children up to 5 Years of age and others with certain underlying conditions. For all others there is a charge of $20 for the Vaccination.
